DR. SACHIN K. PARMAR is presently Head of Department at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot (Gujarat). He completed Master of Pharmacy (Specialization: Pharmacology) in the year 2005 and Ph. D. (Pharmacy) in the year 2011. He is working at this department since 26 June 2008 till date and has 16 Years and 2 months experience in teaching and research at this university. He is recognized PhD guide at Saurashtra University and currently 6 Ph. D. students have been awarded under his guideship. He also guided 30 Master of Pharmacy students. He has published 30 research papers in various national and international journals with Aggregate Impact Factor of 25.29 and H-index- 16. He is Reviewer of several International Journals of repute. He has acquired international Training at Center for Global Health, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA. His work on anti-malarial screening of isolated plant constituents using PBMC culture in vitro awarded with prestigious Gufic prize at IPSCON 2012. He has served as Lead faculty in NIH, USA supported Train-the-Trainer Workshop. He acquired national Training program pertaining to “Bioethics”, conducted by ICMR and NIH, USA. He became youngest organizing secretary of IPS annual conference by conducting IPSCON 2015. He executed 05 Research projects worth Rs. 75 lakh as principal investigator. He qualified various competitive exams such as GATE-2003, GRE, and TOEFL. He is member of Academic council, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Board of Studies of Saurashtra University. He is member of various committees such as IEC, IAEC, Dept Academic Committee, Admission Committee, Sports and cultural event organizing committee, Purchase and Budgetary committee of department. He has been teaching various subjects such as  Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Research Methodology, Clinical Pharmacy, Biostatistics at this department. He has delivered 26 expert talks at various reputed organizations.
