Specific area of research:

  • Screening of isolated phytoconstituent or extracts of medicinal plants on experimental diabetic stroke and Parkinson’s disease
  • Effect of chemicals on diabetic complications (cardiac and renal)
  • An antimalarial potential of selected phytoconstituents
  • Brief procedure
  • At pharmacology lab, we are interested in the screening of isolated phytoconstituent on diabetic stroke against a global/focal model of ischemia in rats and Parkinson’s disease (6-OHDA model).
  • Molecules screened: solasodine, Trans cinnamic Acid, Ellagic acid, Geraniol
