In the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences Three Days Hands on training workshop on Basic Animal cell culture techniques has been organized in the association with B V Patel Education trust Ahmedabad.

On this occasion Inauguration function was graced with Dr. Ashwin Dudhrejiya, Principal B.K.Mody Government Pharmacy college, Dr. Manish Nivsarkar, Director, B V Patel Education trust Ahmedabad Dr. Neeta Srivastava, Deputy Director, B V Patel Education trust Ahmedabad, Dr. Vaibhav Bhatt, Director, SAST, GTU, Ahmedad and other researchers from B V Patel Education trust Ahmedabad.

Plenary session was conducted by Dr. Vaibhav Bhatt, Director, School of applied science and technology, Dr. Anupam Modi, Assistant Professor, School of applied science and technology, and Mr. Sagar Patel, Research Scholar, School of applied science and technology.

Daily lectures were provided participants a basic foundation of cell culture and its use in contemporary biology. Extended laboratory sessions were then showcase these techniques. The goal of these workshops is to provided attendees with a fundamental understanding of cell culture methods, such as cytotoxicity tests, transfections, cryopreservation, cell harvesting, subculturing, and immunofluorescence.This training was provided to students for the chance to pick up important skills and advance science.
